A Snack with Sizzle Cupcakes
What a great way to extend the barbeque all the way through dessert. Cover Mini Ball Pan ?grill? with melted candy and make hot dogs and hamburgers with candy clay. Legs are made from foil-covered cookie treat sticks and wheels from black candy clay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by trisha_n_puppy from I modified this into a full cake. I used 9" round for the cake and tapered it a bit. I used spaghetti for the grill that I painted with white coloring. Made the hot dogs and hamburgers (including cheese) out of fondant. The cake was a big hit. The only part I didn't like was all the fondant hot dogs and hamburgers weren't eaten since many people don't like fondant. I also used black buttercream frosting for the grill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by fallonvale from This is a cute idea, and I made a ton of these. It takes some time to make the clay, roll out each of the shapes and color everything. If you don't have a mini ball pan you can use a regular cupcake pan to do this, just level out the top or cut it down to size. I would use poured icing if I were to do this again, just because candy melts can be so troublesome to work with. But it is a great idea for father's day or for a barb que. I did use the edible markers to draw grill lines on the hot dogs.
