Additional Information

Printing on cakes and treats just got easier when you use this 85-piece press set. Imprint personalize messages on buttercream or fondant cakes with interchangeable letter, number and symbol tiles. And then, simply trace over it with a decorating bag and tip.

  • To use: Place the tiles in reverse order in the holder when using letters, numbers and symbols. (They need to be in the mirror image of the final design.) Slide tile pieces on to the holder, and slide the flip locks on either side to secure tiles on the holder. With very light pressure, press design onto the side or top of cake to leave a slight impression. With a decorating bag and desired top, pipe over design.
  • When using buttercream, let the icing crust 15 to 20 minutes to make imprinting easier.
  • Use and Care: Before first and after each use, wash in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly with soft cloth.

88 Piece Number/Letter Press Set is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Letter/number press Good for cakes but too large for cookies and a little too thin. Letters need to be a little thicker.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easy to use and clean and great size of letters,however...there is no 'spacer' for two words ( ie God Bless) and the letter holder is too short for very common words for cakes such as 'congratulations' and 'anniversary.'

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If you don't want to use many letters per word, this might work. I purchased it specifically to use for holiday words (Valentine, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc). None of them can be spelled out and still use the locks - "Thanksgiving" will not even totally fit on the holder. The same thing with 'anniversary'. The letters need to be smaller. Like another post, I would also like them in script. Any word of more than six or seven letters looks like they will take up a lot of room on a cake - even on a 9x13. I have the older 6-piece set of script words and love it, but this is a disappointment to me.
