Step 1

Make patterns for cutting buggy sections. Tape parchment paper over back of baby buggy pan. Use fine-tip marker to trace four canopy sections, buggy bottom and rim. Use scissors to cut out six pattern pieces.

Step 2

Bake and cool baby buggy cake. Cake is one layer, 2 in. high. Position cake on foil-wrapped cake board , cut to fit. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Use spatula to ice cake sides smooth.

Step 3

Make buggy sections. Use pattern to cut buggy rim from white Sugar Sheets! edible decorating paper. Use pink Color Mist food color spray to spray buggy rim and zebra edible decorating paper. Let dry, 5 to 10 minutes. Brush buggy rim with piping gel; sprinkle with pink Cake Sparkles. Use patterns and scissors to cut out buggy bottom and four canopy sections from zebra edible decorating paper. Use brush and piping gel to attach all sections to cake top.

Step 4

Make buggy trims. Use white fondant to mold and piping gel to attach all trims. For handle, use baroque fondant and gum paste mold to make one large pearl chain. Paint with white Pearl Dust/lemon extract mixture . Attach to cake, curving for hand grip.

For wheels, use black Sparkle Gel to pipe eight spokes. Use jewelry fondant and gum paste mold to make two round gems and bases. Paint with Pearl Dust/lemon extract mixtures: gem tops with orchid pink and bases with silver. Attach. For tires, use baroque mold to make three large pearl chains (1 1/2 per tire). Paint with white Pearl Dust/lemon extract mixture. Attach; trim to fit. Attach three white Sugar Pearls to each spoke.

Step 5

Make bottom border. Use baroque mold and white fondant to make 5 1/2 large pearl chains. Use piping gel to attach around cake, trimming as needed.

Step 6

Make pacifier. For base, roll a white ball, 1/4 in. dia. and flatten. For top, roll a white fondant ball, 1/8 in. dia. Use piping gel to attach. Paint pacifier with orchid pink Pearl Dust/ lemon extract mixture. Let dry, 5 to 10 minutes; attach to head. Position head on cake.

Step 7

Make head. Tint 1 3/4 oz. fondant copper, a 3/4 in. ball lemon yellow/golden yellow combination (for yellow) and a 1/2 in. ball black. Shape 1 1/2 oz. copper into a ball and flatten to a dome shape, 2 1/4 in. dia. Use rounded end of thick modeling stick from 10-pc. gum paste/fondant tool set to indent dimples and smile. Use brush and orchid pink Pearl Dust to highlight cheeks.
