Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy cake for beginners I did this cake for my Wilton Method of Cake Decorating Buttercream class at JoAnn and I'm so glad I did. This is a nice beginner cake and you can change up any color you want. I also saw this done on a Craftsy class with Beth Sommers called Buttercream Skills. It was done in lavender and so cute! PS: This is super easy to frost if you use the Wilton Buttercream frosting that's in the big tub (the small container of it seems to be too stiff to work with)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved making this cake. It's a great cake to start out with when you start doing more hard cakes. It's a great cake for a young lady (like mysellf)/young man to start out with .I didn't have enough frosting to do it as well as the picture but no matter how you do it it will look great. Pink and yellow are a great color combo :)

So I decided this would be my first cake to decorate and it was for my co-workers birthday. It was easy to do and looked great! She was so happy and couldnt believe i did it myself! I will be making more of these soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this today. It was the nicest cake I have ever made. It didn't look as good as the picture, but it turned out pretty good overall. The cake comb was the hardest part for me. I had to redo it 3 times before it turned out looking decent. Looking forward to making it again soon for another special occasion. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this cake for fun. I loved it and found that anyone without experience could do this really easily. I loved learning to use the decorating combs. I learned that I didn't have to push on it so hard that doing it lightly and spinning it worked nicely. Have fun with this cake :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy and fun cake to make - very easy to conceal any mistakes for begining decorators. I have made this for mother's day, easter and bridal showers, very easy to customize to many different occasions. I like to sprinkle dust or sprinkles on the top for a cute look

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This cake is so simple, yet beautiful! It's my go-to cake anytime I want to give someone a cake for their birthday. The comb and large star tip make it so easy to decorate this cake, but everyone I've given one to has ooooohhhhed and aaaaahhhhed over it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this for my first Wilton class final. I was still new to cake decorating, so it was not quite as cute as this one, but it still was fairly easy and turned out nice. Uses some of the basic cake decorating techniques
