And they'll love choosing their own treats to dip ? from fruits like bananas and strawberries to marshmallows, potato chips, pretzels, cookies and more. Adjustable feet and a bubble level help you keep the fountain steady, so the auger-feed chocolate system runs like a dream. Best of all, the fountain's removable pieces clean up quickly by hand between uses and can be compactly stored from one party to the next. The fountain has three settings ? preheat to warm the base unit, flow to set the luscious fountain of chocolate cascading, and off for safe removal of the chocolate after the party. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has been running great for five years We bought this fountain several years ago for a child's birthday party. It worked great, and we used it again for New Years Eve. It was the hit of the party, and our New Years Eve guests always ask if we will have it going. The answer has been "yes" for five years! It works great, we have never had any of the problems I see listed. There is no "design flaw" with an upside down screw. Running the fountain does require some attention to detail, be sure it is level, be sure to properly melt the chocolate and mix with oil as described ahead of time; then clean immediately, do not allow any chocolate to harden in the screw. We love it!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid this product. Design defect. We had a graduation party the first week with just family. It worked fine. Then with 100 invited guests we had it all setup and ready, turned it on and the Motor would not spin making the chocolate flow. We had and Electronics repair shop look at it real quick and they found a design defect were the motor at the bottom would only turn if the gear was pushed up. Since it has to be right side up and not upside down the gear would fall down putting it out of spec thus making the motor not turn. Now we have tons of chocolate and a case of strawberries, no fountain. Party is over.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I purchased the chocholate far a sweet 16 and followed the directions to a t. i was dissapointed that the chocholate did not flow as described even with adding more oil to thin it out but it still did the job. The biggest problem was when i tried to use it a week later it lasted about 2 hours and the motor just ceased up. so now I have a $100 fondu pot instead of a fountain. This manufacturing defect needs to be fixed, I shoud of read the reviews first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I purchased this as a gift for my sister-in-law in September and included 2 bags of Wilton chocolate wafers. She set it up at Thanksgiving and Christmas and all the grandchildren were thrilled. The fruit would not have been eaten so quickly without the chocolate foundation. We are looking forward to this fountain every holiday now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Bad Experience! Just setup the fountain with expensive belgian chocolate made for fountains for a 2013 new year celebration. Turned it on and the motor would not turn. It appears its too weak, even with nothing in it. This too seems to be a manufacturing flaw. Buyer beware!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I borrowed the fountain from a friend, who lived quite a distance from us, for our Seniors' Group Valentine party . It was a hit! Everyone loved the "new experience" of holding fruit or a cookie under the fountain to coat it with the chocolate. I again used it the next day for my grandsons. They thought this was the most wonderful invention! The next week the boys came back expecting to find the chocolate fountain. They were extremely disappointed upon discovering that I had borrowed it and the fountain had been returned. When our 50th Anniversary party was being planned, the fountain was the first thing the boys asked us to have at the party. Everyone had great fun dipping chocolate! No one, besides the Seniors' Group, had seen one until then so it was a real novelty. I now plan to buy one so my grandsons can 'dip' whenever they come. I found it was not difficult to clean. I poured the warm chocolate into a pie plate and just put the 'chocolatey' parts into hot soapy water then rinsed them under hot water.
