Pipe dots for flower centers, faces, figure piping and border effects. When making large dots, lift the tip as you squeeze to allow icing to fill out completely.

Characters or designs are often outlined first, then piped in with stars or zigzags. Outlines can also be used for facial features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have done these cookies 5 times they are easy and fun to decorate. I did them three times in glaze and buttercream; once in Royal throughout; and once in Royal and Buttercream. They are just the right size for showers. I used wilton' butter flavoring, almond, and vanilla on sugar cookies. Brides and guests are always delighted!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I give this cookie a medium rating because of the color flow icing. I had a hard time working with it. I loved the cookie dough, though. It was very easy to work with and tasted great. I had such a problem with the full strength color flow icing, that I had to use tip 3 instead of 2 for outlining, which helped some. I guess it just takes practice to get the right consistency. But, the cookies look super cute. I might try a different icing next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made these for my friend's daughter's bridal shower. I will be making them for my daughter's bachorlette party. They help set the mood and they're easy enough to do and put in the freezer until the function.
