Step 1

Cook rice. Lightly oil poinsettia pan; pack hot rice into pan.

Step 2

Turn out immediately onto serving tray.

Step 3

Position fresh dill for veins, green pepper for leaves.

Step 4

Using end of tip 12, cut pieces of squash for the center of poinsettia.

Step 5

Place steamed color yellow squash and red pepper around rice dish.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is a fabulous idea. It was really easy to make. Couldn't be more simpler. I did use the poinsettia pan, however, I did not make it into a flower. Instead, seeing as spring is approaching, I made it look like a sun. I turned it out onto a bigger serving tray and used orange and yellow peppers to place on top of the "sun". I diced up the yellow and orange peppers really small and alternated putting them on the "petasl" of the poinsettia. It looked beautiful. I also added a little garlic and pepper to the rice mixture. On the tray, along with the "sun", I made some flowers out of green peppers and red peppers. It looked wonderful and everyone loved it for the first BBQ of the season!
