Towering Tiers Cake Stand is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The problem is.... I have read so many of the bad reviews about this product.. I've had mine for about two years and have gotten quite a few maybe 5 uses out of it already. But I have been only using it for cupcakes.. Haven't tried Tiering cakes yet... It works very well, it did not break on me. I have been able to set it completely up once. The only thing is that the very top piece that holds it together is missing... Maybe if Wilton had a way to only replace the missing and/or broken pieces it would be great.. Now I have yet to find any other tall cake stand like this one so I'm forced to buy a new one.. Though it's not the prettiest it still gets the job done

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This stand worked well the first 3 or 4 times I used it. After a few assemblies, disassemblies etc, it started to get a bit of a lean. Just recently three of the centre posts broke - the threaded/screw part snapped clean off while the stand was assembled!! I am lucky this happened while I was still at home and not at the venue setting up. As another posted mentioned, the sides of the plates are beveled so you cannot add any ribbon to add colour or jazz it up. Overall I would not recommend this stand to someone wishing to use it often.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Currently a BiG waste of money... The piece at the top keeps breaking in the threading which holds the WHOLE thing together, basically making it unusable. Of course Wilton doesn't sell this one piece as a replacement part, you have to buy the whole thing over... Okay, I gave it a try, bought another, because you could always use extra parts, broke again after one use.... Was gifted a third tower, used it once.... We'll see how it holds up. I also agree the edges need to be flat so you can custumize it with ribbon... Time to step it up Wilton, this product has been out awhile and I've wasted a lot of money on it. Please help!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just used this stand for a cupcake tower I made for a bridal shower. It was fantastic. It's very easy to put together. You can make this as tall or as small as you like. I like the smooth rounded edge. I placed a paper doily on each tray (made a slit in it and cut small hole in center) and that made it look nice. I had 75 regular sized cupcakes and used all but the bottom tray (I think that was the 18"). I highly recommend this. It's beautiful and I will get alot of use from it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would rate it 4 stars if it weren't already broken. The center piece broke just the second time I used it. Without this piece, the entire stand is unusable. The threaded area on the center post foot, broke cleanly where the threads and base come together. It looks like the plastic was never completely joined during the assembly process. For the money, I would expect better quality control and product durability. So my over all rating is much lower than it should be.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This tower is nice but has some limitations that affect its overall usefulness. First, it looks very cheap. I expected something a bit nicer but its really boring. I tried to make it fancier by customizing it with ribbons around the edges but the plate edges are weirdly beveled and so it's very difficult to add any embellishments. Which leaves you with boring plastic plates. Overall I wouldn't recommend buying this until Wilton makes some changes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We used this for my daughter's wedding cupcake cake, and it worked very well and looked pretty. It was sturdy, no problems there. I do agree with another reviewer that it'd be nicer if it had prettier edges. I was going to use doilies, but finding the right sizes and cutting them in half etc was just too much to bother with, along with all the other wedding things we had to do. I appreciated that there were two sets of center posts, for taller or less tall display, and choose which sizes of trays to use or skip. I agree with other posters that a small 6" top would be nice. Assembly was done by several others who managed to put it together (they did a practice run a few days in advance) so I guess that worked ok. The only issue I had was repacking it, and I called customer service for help. The largest bottom tray separates into two sections, and we had a heck of a time getting them back into the box without the edges poking out. The problem was that we had those pieces flat against the side of the box, and they needed to be diagonal from front-to-back of the box. If you put them in the middle first, across the main diagonal of the box, they fit just fine. Continue with the largest pieces in the center and work your way out with the smaller trays, then put the little stuff around the open areas. We saved all the bags so the pieces wouldn't get scratched. I suggested that they put repacking directions in the instruction sheet, but in the meantime I hope this helps someone!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lovely if you are just using ONCE. I read the same review and I still bought it....what a mistake. It leaned when I set it up at the venue. The center post foot broke as I was dismantling the cake. I was EXTRA careful because I knew about the bad review. It broke in the same place I was warned about. Spend the extra money, especially if you plan to use it more than once, this one isn't worth the gamble.
