Make legs, arms and eye stalks. Use a knife to cut pretzel sticks for trims: two, 1 in. long, for legs; eight, 2 in. long, for arms and eye stalks.
Tint 1 oz. fondant black. Use 9 in. fondant roller with purple guide rings to roll out 1/8 in. thick. For legs, use knife to cut two strips, 3/4 in. wide x 1 in. long. Brush with piping gel and wrap around leg pretzels, trimming as needed.
For arms, cut two fondant strips, 3/4 in. wide x 1 1/4 in. long. Wrap around arm pretzels as above, leaving 3/4 in. at one end uncovered. For eye stalks, cut two strips, 3/4 in. wide x 1 1/2 in. long. Wrap pretzel pieces as above, leaving 1/2 in. at one end uncovered.
