Rated 5 out of 5 by from I did something like this recently for a school cake walk, but instead of popcorn, I used mini-marshmallows sprayed with a bit of yellow color mist spray. It really looked amazing and was a huge hit! I also made cupcakes to go along with the cake. I used tall cupcake liners and slipped them into party-sized popcorn boxes, then piled the "popcorn" mini marshmallows on top. Super cute!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made a 3D of version of this by stacking 3 8" rounds. I've used real popcorn on top and also the mini marshmallows sprayed with yellow Color Mist and then cut on top. It's very simple, doesn't take much time and looks very impressive. It's also fun to set right next to it a stack of 6" rounds dressed up like a can of soda. It's the perfect companion!
