The Fairy Tale Begins Castle Cake is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from this is perfect castle cake that I've never ever seen. i liked the way of decoration and i would like to tell this, instead of applying pure white flower icing we could make it lite baby pink icing for the flowers and also if we think we could make Wilton lace work for the outer layers of the cake with the help of royal icing. but as far as i'm concerned the lace work with royal icing is difficult one but it's suits best with this castle cake very much. thanks. l

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this cake for a wedding and altered the design as the bride requested. It was made in the heart shape, tiered with roses all around the bottom! The trail went up the side to the second layer and it was really beautiful. Thank you Wilton for this awesome design idea. It made an absolute beautiful wedding cake. The bride almost cried when she saw the cake and now two years later she still coments on how much she loved her beautiful cake!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a beautiful design. I made this as a wedding cake for an older couple, and the response was unbelievable. There is a lot of prep work needed for this cake, so make sure you have plenty of time and don't try to rush the finished piece. I used a lot of colors on the drop flowers, green under the flower clusters, and a white base on the cake. It looked very floral and more inviting than an all white cake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this cake for a friend's wedding. I also made a miniature of this cake for their first anniversary cake. It wasn't too difficult to make, just required some time and planning. I used royal icing to make the flowers so I could make them in advance. The directions were easy to follow. This was essential since it was the first wedding cake I made.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost every girl's dream is to have a fairytale wedding. This cake is an elegant way to express that fairytale. Traditional white tiered cake topped with a simple but elegant princess castle. Add splashes of color to coincide with your wedding theme. Very versatile design for any princess bride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have made this cake when it first came out in 2004. I made this cake easy to make. I found a cake store who makes all kinds of flowers ready to use. This cake was a breeze for me to make. The next time I get and order I will actually make the drop flowers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I make the castle cake when I make the doll cake a a Disney Doll. It is more of a challenge but it can be fun nevertheless.
