Bake cakes in molds and additional cake in sheet cake pan.
Use 3 in. round cookie cutters to cut bodies.
Remove faces from snowman mold.
Position 3 in. round cakes on cooling grid placed over cookie sheet and cover snowman body with thinned-down white icing and Santa's body with thinned down red icing. Cover snowman's head with thinned white icing and Santa's head with thinned orange icing.
Use tip 2 to pipe dot eyes and outline mouth on snowman. Use tip 2 and orange icing to pipe carrot nose. Use tip 3 and black icing to pipe hat and dot buttons. Use tip 2 and red icing to pipe band on hat and tip 2 and yellow icing to pipe buckle on hat. Cut black spice drops to form shoes and attach with icing. Cut black shoestring licorice 3/4 in. long and insert for arms. Cut red spice drop for hands and attach to arms with icing.
For Santa, use tip 3 and red icing to pipe hat. Use tip 3 and white icing to pipe swirl brim and pompom on hat and mustache, beard and fur on jacket. Use tip 2 and orange icing to pipe dot nose. Use tip 3 and black icing to pipe belt (smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Cut black spice drops for shoes and attach with icing. Use red licorice twists to cut arms and cut green spice drop mittens; attach both with icing.
