Holly leaves build on the basic leaf technique. Use a decorator brush to pull out the tiny points that give them their festive shape.

Instructions:

Step 1

With tip 70, Hold bag at a 45° angle with back of bag pointing to 6;00. Follow basic leaf method to pipe desired size leaf.

Step 2

While icing is wet, pull out tiny points around edge with a toothpick near center vein.

Step 3

If using royal icing, let leaves dry on flower formers for a curved look.
