Give Mom a little bit of sunshine on her special day. These candy treats are made by forming cute little candy cups with Candy Melts candy. They're then filled with whipped chocolate ganache for a decadent treat.
Make whipped ganache. Make whipped ganache following recipe directions using light cocoa Candy Melts candy.
Make candy sunflower cups. Melt yellow Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Open mini baking cups and flatten slightly. Use melted yellow candy in a cut disposable decorating bag to pipe candy on bottom and half way up the sides of baking cup. Immediately use brush to spread melted candy further up the sides of cup. Chill until firm for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Decorate candy sunflower cups once firm. Carefully peel mini baking cups from yellow candy sunflower cups.
Use tip 2A in a cut disposable decorating bag and use whipped ganache to pipe a ball into candy sunflower cup. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate jimmies. Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving.
