Decorate background. Prepare royal icing following
recipe directions. Tint portions lemon yellow, sky blue,
orange, leaf green and violet/rose combination (for
violet). Use tip 3 and full-strength yellow icing to outline
cookies. Use tip 2 and yellow icing to pipe diagonal lines,
1/2 in. wide and 1/2 in. apart. Let dry 1 hour. Use thinned
blue, orange, green or violet icing in cut disposable bag
to flow in between yellow lines. Let dry overnight.
