These sweet Stocking Up for Christmas Cookies are a fun project for decorators of all skill levels! With the ability to decorate these cookies in whatever patterns and colors you’d like, these treats lend themselves well to cookie decorating parties or make for a fun activity to do with the kids on a snow day. Use tip 352 to create a fun feather-like border on each stocking and place these on the platter with care!
Prepare and roll out dough. Cut cookies using stocking cutter from set.
Bake and cool.
Using tip 3, outline cookies with full-strength icing, flow in
with thinned icing. For striped design, flow in each section before previous
section dries. For other designs, decorate immediately after flowing in
stocking using tip 2 for dots, tip 1s for spirals. Let dry overnight.
Using full-strength icing, pipe tip 352 pull-out leaf cuffs.
