Prepare icing and tint 2/3 cup red, 1/2 cup orange, 1/2 cup green, 1/3 cup blue and 1/3 yellow. Reserve 3 cups white; (thin 2 1/4 cups with 1 1/2 teaspoons light corn syrup). Ice smooth with spatula. Use thinned white icing for sides.
Pipe star border with tip 21: Use red icing on edge; orange icing 3/8 in. from red; green icing 3/8 in. from orange; blue icing 3/8 in. from green.
