The bead shape makes impressive borders outlines and accents on letters and designs; also a cute trim on clothing and gingerbread houses. The basis for making piped hearts and figure piping.

The star tip creates the most celebrated, easily accomplished decorations! The serrated edges of the star tip make ridges in the icing as you squeeze it out. Because fill in requires so much piping from the same bag, keep replenishing icing in bag.

Star of David Hanukkah Cake is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I used 8 inch round pans, and made the star a little more elaborate to make a snowflake rather than a star. It is very easy to make something very elaborate. The measuring directions are good, but if you're using round pans, you have to mark the six points. That could be tricky and it's important to measure carefully, otherwise the snowflake/star will be lopsided.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from made this cake for Hanukkah. I didn't have the hexigon pan set so i just used an 8" round pan. It didn't come out as good but it looked great. I add shimmer dust on top to make it sparkle.
