Rated 5 out of 5 by from this pan is wonderful. I have used it 3 times in the last 2 months, a barn on the farm for my granddaughters first birthday was so awesome! I replica of a house for a housewarming and another for a mortgage burning party. everyone loved these cakes and the standup aspect is a perfect touch. the only thing I dont like about it is decorating the eaves.....but I dont like painting them either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have used to pan to decorate to give my Vet as the dog house for his care of my animals, as a cottage for housewarmings, with gingerbread people as a hostess gift for a holiday party, with ghost coming out the windoiw for Halloween, and even as a bunny house w occupants for Easter. Just change the colors and the theme. It is easy, quick and turns out wonderful each time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This pan has a couple of uses. It can be used for Christmas and decorated as a gingerbread house. It also can be used for Halloween as well. I decorated it like a haunted house for a Halloween party one year. Then I put grave stones in front of it with bats and other halloween characters(the sugar ones) on the house which were also made by Wilton.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love using this pan, but have found if the cake is to moist you need to be sure to make two and stand them back to back to keep it from falling over. Some houses I have made with this pan are: a house warming cake; fairy house (which turned into a fairy house ruins when it fell over); and a princess castle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used this pan to make train sheds along with the 3-D train pan for my sons bday cake. I used boxed cake mixes instead of a firmer pound cake and these cakes stood beautifully. The depth is just perfect and icing this cake is very easy. The sky is the limit for decorating this cake.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have used this a few times. The first time as a barn, and secured it to a base cake with wooden rods. Most recently my son and I decorated it as a gingerbread house for Christmas, we had a great time and actually ate it after, rather than throwing out the gingerbread house:)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I'm a Witon Instructor and I do not like this cake. No matter what I did it would not stand up. Sorry Wilton not my favorite pan. Needs to be wider at the base to get it to stand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not one of my favorites. I have had trouble getting it to stay upright. I've gone back to making my houses the old way..small square cakes stacked and a Graham cracker roof.
