Taking a walk on the mild side! Cute chick is a 1 in. thick, single- serve shaped cake coated with melted candy and decorated with cut candy trims.

Step 1

Bake and cool 1 in. high cake. Cut using jelly bean cutter from set as a guide. Place on Cooling Grid over waxed paper-covered Cookie Sheet. Cover with melted candy. Tap to settle; chill until firm.

Step 2

For wing, roll out yellow spice drop on surface sprinkled with granulated sugar. Cut using medium leaf Cut-Out. Trim about 1/4 in. off pointed end to shape. For beak, cut a 1/2 in. orange triangle. For eye, cut point off mini chip. Attach candy trims with melted candy.

Step 3

For feet, roll out orange spice drops on surface sprinkled with granulated sugar. Cut two feet with smallest heart Cut-Out. Roll cut edges in granulated sugar. Cut licorice to 1 1/2 in. long. Use knife tip to poke holes in feet and in chick. Insert licorice and secure with melted candy.
