Step 1

*Violet and Rose were combined to achieve violet shown.

One day in advance: Make Wild Roses. Use royal icing, flower nail no. 7 and tip 103 to make 7 violet, 7 yellow and 5 pink wild roses with tip 1 white dot centers. Make extras to allow for breakage; let dry.

Step 2

Bake and cool 19 mini fluted mold cakes; cover tops with confectioners' glaze; let set. Position cakes with doilies underneath on stands. Attach flowers with tip 1 dots of royal icing and pipe tip 352 green royal icing leaves.

The Violet is an ideal ?filler? flower. Use it to give an abundant look to all kinds of floral cakes. It looks beautiful in white and yellow as well as violet.

The wild rose is a pretty year-round flower piped about the size of the head of Flower Nail 7. For a more cupped shape, increase the angle you hold the tip.

A variety of leaves will help give your cakes a more realistic garden feel. Add piping gel to your icing to help keep your leaves from breaking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you want something that a future bride will think you worked for a long time. Use this one. I used it on several of my bridal showers and it works great. You can also make a bunch of the cakes and freeze them if you need something quick . I make my extra flowers every time I do a cake and have them on hand when needed. You also know that if you do cakes and someone get the word you always will have to help get some one out of a jam. So this idea works for that time. Easy, pretty, and very very simple.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love to use this for parties because no one will refuse a mini cupcake to try, and with several flavors, it is hard to resist trying each kind. also, it makes a great looking presentation. the directions were clear and it was fairly eash to put together. You can use any theme or season and it will fit in beautifully. kids and adults are impresses with the outcome. I have made a one color scheme but prefer to use at least three colors for abetter showing. The more I use it the more confident I feel.

I found it a little time consuming, but the directions were spot on and everyone thought it was the neatest thing ever. Several wanted the recipe/directions to make these for their own parties. Great idea that I'm keeping for some of my parties "down the road".
