Rated 5 out of 5 by sccandwbfan from I made this cake for a friend for his 4th of July party. It was my first time making a cake with a drape unless you count the Wilton class. The cake was easy to put together and fun to decorate. I had a little trouble with the drape because of my inexperience, but it still turned out wonderful. I would consider this a great go to cake for patriotic holidays because little preparation was needed; a few stars to cut out and the coloring of the fondant. It was easy to color the fondant with my Wilton colors. Because of the dark colors of the fondant, it was easy to put my friends favorite chocolate cake, filled with chocolate mousse and covered with chocolate buttercream under it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rhonda48 from This was My first Cake using Fondant. I found the drape to be easiest to work with if the fondant wasnt to thick, plus I some what shaped the drape before placeing on Cake. I also found that when placeing drape, let in fall in place naturally. Looked better and much eiser forMe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sweets 2 Order from This cake is a simple but will come out like you spent a week on the decorations. This has been ordered from me severall times and I alway let them know that you cannot have it out side in July because of the heat or the colors will run if it hot and stickey weather.

Rated 4 out of 5 by princessdarabk69 from Making this cake was kind of easy but the draping of the flag was difficult and I didn't like the way it looked. I removed the draping flag from the cake and instead of just using only white stars I used red as well. It look great even without the draped flag! =)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dewilla from I loved making this cake! The drape was somewhat tricky, but I managed to get it done in my own way. The stars on straws added a clever touch. Everyone loved the cake. The blue color was beautiful, and the cake added tremendously to our 4th of July celebration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by horseanddiver from I did this cake when I was just learning to work with fondant (2nd time) but it turned out so cute! I love the idea! I put sparklers in mine to add a little more pop since we had it at a firework block party

Rated 4 out of 5 by LesaVaughn from I really want to try this. I gave it a four as I know it will take some time, but overall it looks relatively simple. I really love all the Wilton patriotic theme cakes and treats!
