Make cake. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool two-piece cake according to pan package directions. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Use spatula and icing to ice halves and attach together. Place on cake circle or plate.
Ice cake. Use spatula and white icing to ice cake with a rough texture.
Decorate cake. Use black food color spray to spray eyes, nose and mouth cavities. Let dry, about 3 to 5 minutes. Repeat until desired darkness is achieved.
