Silicone Piping Tip Covers is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 43.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you are working with royal icing or color flow, such as during the holidays for all those cookies, these tip covers are FABULOUS. Using these covers gives me the ability to easily float from one color to the next without worrying about damp towels or other methods of keeping the tips with royal icing moist. When I'm working with royal icing, I use the silicone tip covers and I also use the decorating bag stand. The combination of these two products are a huge time saver for me during the holidays. Loved them so much I purchased two sets! Happy Decorating!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I found that they slip off. However, I found that I could use a rubber band, twisting it around the tip cover, using the little tabs and wrapping it back around the bag. This works when you have an extensive project that stretches out over a longish period of time and need to keep several bags going. However, one good way to keep a bag from drying out (works even for royal icing!) is to remove the tip & the coupler ring, place a piece of plastic wrap over the end and put the ring back on. Twist the open end of the bag and secure with a bag tie or rubber band.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These work! I don't think the price is too expensive either. Have no experience with the old style tips, so can't compare. Absolutely, make sure your tips and covers are clean. If your tip has any icing on it, the oil in the icing will make these slip right off. But, yeah, if you have partial bags you don't want to empty, they work. I put my bag, with coupler, tip, and cover into a gallon size baggie. That assures if the cover comes off, the icing will be contained in the baggie

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use this when working with royal icing, it is a must-have. It does slip off when using it with buttercream icing but I think it us because of the grease, I recommend that you wipe off excess icing before using this or if you happen to use it already and it slips, clean the tip and this silicone cover before replacing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these things. I used to have so much trouble with my Royal icing drying up in the tips when I make my bikini cookies. I would put plastic wrap around them but it would still dry up. I found that if I put these on & twist them when I put them on that they stay on really nice.
