Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to assemble Love this product! The cake can be made as simple or elaborate as you want. It takes some patience, but I love the results every time! This Frozen themed cake was a hit at my niece's birthday party. I used buttercream only on this cake which saves time. Fondant is harder to work with. I have made one that looks exactly like the one on the box, took hours! It doesn't travel well, so when I am taking it somewhere, I will decorate the pillars and cones, but wait until I am at the location before finishing assembly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Statement Cake that can easily be themed I've made this cake several times and have had great success and reviews from my granddaughters, nieces and everyone else attending the parties. Pictures posted on Facebook gathered more oohs and awes. I've themed it as a princess cake, a "Frozen" cake and even a Hogwarts cake from Harry Potter. It's not a cake you can take assembled but must take it like all tiered cakes in sections and assemble on site. I'm going to make it again in a few weeks and this time it's going to have three or four tiers. Can't wait!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I was looking forward to making my 4 year old grand-daughter a castle cake for her birthday. Th cakes I bakes were delicious and everyone really liked the buttercream icing recipe provided in the instructions. Unfortunately, the castle cake set is designed very poorly and not worth its high price. The turrets were top heavy and would not stay in place. This made the cake unstable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this set !!!! I first saw it when my daughter was 2 and she said mommy will you make me a princess birthday cake ? And of course I said yes baby ! So she got one for her 3 rd birthday-- a few days ago ! I started on a Monday making the flowers -- i just made a little drop flower out of royal icing and then put a small dot in the middle for the flowers --- a lot of them-- I didn't even count them! The next few nights i took a paint brush sponge and applied royal icing on the tower peaks , door, windows and roof and rolled them in pink sugar crystals - adding flowers to the windows also . So Thursday i baked the cakes ( 2 6" and 2 10" ) wrapped and froze them ! Friday i attached some dowel rods into the towers with hot glue and worked on covering a piece of plywood my hubby cut from his work . The cake will be real heavy !! Saturday i put her together and Sunday was the party . The cake was so moist !!! I had a blast with this cake ! The key is work on alittle bit each day --- by the reviews I was scard to death about transferring this because I had 20 miles to the party ----- BUT IT NEVER MOVED AN INCH !!!!!!!! Be cause of the dowels with the hot glue !!!!!
