Rated 1 out of 5 by from I can't give it any more because it broke after only a few uses. I only used it for fondant and the handle broke right off as I was in the middle of rolling fondant for a 12" cake. I had to roll the remaining three tiers with a regular size wooden rolling pin. Took forever and my arms and shoulders are still sore after three days. The Wilton flour sifter also broke at the handle after only a few uses too. Yikes! I think it's time to upgrade my products to more reliable equipment. Wilton needs to look into their quality so intermediate baker's can enjoy their hobby too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was hesitant to buy this rolling pin, but my "Old Faithful" was on it's last leg. After getting it home and getting it out of the packaging (took me a while), I have fallen in love with this rolling pin! Nothing sticks to it, it's heavy but not too heavy and the barrel is twice the size of my old roller. The detatchable ends make it s cinch to clean. The only issue I have is finding a place to store it because it is quite a bit bigger than my old one. Now, I can't wait to make a pie or cut outs!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This morning I was rolling out fondant for a wedding cake and it broke. One of the metal pins that holds the handle on broke at the place on the pin that locks the handle onto it. This is only the 2nd time I've used it. Needless to say, I was nearly in a panic since I was only on my first tier of 3. I managed to finish rolling the fondant for the other tiers by sticking the handle on the short piece that was left coming out of the pin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The 2nd one of these just broke! Not worth the money. the first one rusted on the inside even though I didn't put it in the dishwasher, just washed as directed. It deposited rust on everything. I was sent a replacement and have had it a few months and the handle broke while rolling out some dough. Very disappointed since I use a lot of Wilton products. I won't be going for a 3rd one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very happy! This is the second one that I've purchased that snapped at the handled and this is with me using fondant that has already been primed or softened so no great amount of pressure was needed. The flaw in the design is that the handles are detachable. The notch in the metal pins creates a stress point that is sure to break after continued use. I had the first one for a total of 3 month and only made two cakes and the left handle just snapped. I at least expected the right to snap as that's my dominant hand but no was the left. The second one lasted 2 weeks...and again the left handle snapped. I went to Michaels today and they told me that they will no longer be carrying in in their stores. I wonder if this is the reason. I've emailed Wilton on their Facebook page to ask them about this flaw. No response as yet. Really bummed because I loved it. The silicone had rounded edges and was higher than the rim which eliminated indentation marks. BUMMER

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This rolling pin is THE BEST one. It works very good on rolling fondant and gumpaste. And it also works good on everyday baking for pies, breads Etc... This product is so worth the money and the handles also come off for easy cleaning, which is also awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got this a few years ago for my wife and I've only used it infrequently. This weekend helped in a fundraiser by rolling out bottoms & tops for fifty full-sized pies. Worked beautifully, and the other rolling pins felt heavy and awkward after using this one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I loved this rolling pin and was so happy to finally find the perfect one except, the handle wouldn't come off after the first time and then the handle broke while using it the 3rd time. I was very disappointed. Wilton, please make a more sturdier handle.
