Rated 4 out of 5 by from Now that I'm up to my eyeballs in chocoate lolipops-I figured out my mistakes. -don't put bottles in micorwave. I'm melting chocolate wafes in pyrex measuring cup -pour melted chocolate into bottles -after a while a chocolate mess oozing out of bottle-had rip in bottle where tops screws on. I think this was caused by chcolalte not being hot enough, squeezing bottle too hard and hole on top of bottle too small -made hole to top bigger-seems to be going ok now wth bigger hole on top and hot chocolate

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These are AWFUL! I bought them for EXACTLY the purpose that is described in the listing, and within 15 seconds of pouring the first candy into the bottle, it had melted--leaving a GIANT mess all over my kitchen counter, a complete waste of my time AND the money I'd spend on the bottles as well as the candy supplies, and a fairly decent burn on my finger from where the candy got me. Wilton is lucky that all I'm doing is leaving a negative review. I'm disgusted.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I was so excited to get these because I thought it would be less mess and super easy, well I tried them out in the microwave and filled the bottle 1/2 full with candy, turned the power of the microwave way down and waited about 30 seconds to take it out to find that the bottom of the bottle had melted. These are not microwave save and i had to throw the bottle away and start my candy over. Sooo upset. Back to making a huge mess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The majority of people here seem to have melted the bottles. You melt the chocolate, put it in the bottle and use it. Also, you keep it warm in a hot water bath so that the chocolate will move freely. These babies work GREAT when filling molds with less spilling and for icing sugar cookies. I have used them to add detail to chocolate dipped strawberries as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Im not sure why people would think that it was a good idea to put these in the microwave... the mess and wasted bottles/candy are from not paying attention or using common sense... it specifically says "Pour melted candy into the bottle" i copy/pasted that directly from the information regarding the use of the bottle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from NOT Recommended for melting candy, stick with the double broiler or mini crock pot if you have one. Much Much easier than a melted bottle and loss of a bag or more of candy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Oh, and the package when received said that you need to put the bottle in a bowl of hot water to melt. Does not say anything about being ok to microwave.
