Wilton Favor Tin CD's/DVD's Instructions

IMPORTANT: Read these instructions completely before beginning

The CD/DVD kit contains 2 types of labels: one for the top of the tin and the other to be placed directly on the CD or DVD. Kit includes tins, adhesive lables amd complete instructions to make 12 favors.

1. Download the template

Please note the templates are Microsoft Word 2002 documents and may not be compatible with earlier versions of Microsoft Word.

Hints and Tips:
The template is in table format, therefore, you will see squares, not circles.
If you would like add color to the entire label, you will need to shade all white cells.

2. Personalize

Consider adding photos, monograms, or messages to the labels.
Use clip art to add photos or graphics.
Text can be inserted to personalize each tin with names, dates or a special message.

3. Print

Practice first! Use the included Test Sheets to check positioning prior to printing the labels. Need more Test Sheets? Click on the link below to print additional Test Sheets. Just make sure to put regular paper into your printer.

Refer to your printer’s manual for loading and feeding recommendations. Many printers have special instructions for loading labels.
Do not feed labels through the printer more than once. Repeated heat from the printer may cause adhesive to soften making the labels sheet unusable.

4. Assemble the Tins

Gently lift CD/DVD label (with the center cut-out) and apply directly to the CD or DVD.
Place CD/DVD into tin and close lid.
Gently lift label for tin case (without center cut-out) and apply to the tin lid.
Add ribbon or trim to further embellish, if desired.
