Brownie Berry Sundae

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • Bake Easy™ Non-Stick Spray

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray Mini Star pan with non-stick spray. In a small heavy sauce pan or microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate and butter together on low heat, stir until blended. In a mixing bowl add chocolate mixture to sugar, mix. Add slightly beaten eggs. Blend. Toss salt and flour together in a separate bowl. Add flour, nuts and vanilla to mixture, stir until all flour is mixed in. Pour into prepared pans. Bake 20 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes, remove from pans.

YIELD: Make 6 stars.

When cool top with ice cream and your favorite berries.

Strawberry and Blueberry Topping

Ingredients:

  • 1 pint each strawberries and blueberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

At least 3 hours before serving, clean and slice berries, wash blueberries and strawberries place in separate bowls. Sprinkle with sugar and refrigerate. Just before serving, combine berries and if desired add a splash of your favorite liqueur.
