Ingredients:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray spooky ghost pan with non-stick spray. Prepare cake mix according to package directions; stir in Halloween sprinkle sparks. Pour batter into pan; bake according to package instructions. Cool completely before decorating.
To Decorate:
Smooth or spatula ice the cake with white icing. Sprinkle with white cake sparkles. Using rolling pin, roll out black spice drops on small amount of granulated sugar to flatten and enlarge. Using baking pan as guide, trim flattened spice drop to the shape of the background areas of pan. Attach spice drop to cake with icing.
With rolling pin, roll out green spice drops on granulated sugar to flatten; cut out 2 circles for eyes. Roll out black spice drops; cut out 1 circle for mouth. Press eyes and mouth into place on cake face. Attach small candy-coated chocolate dot candy eyes with icing.
Or simply use ready-to-decorate icing colored with icing color to create cake background and facial details.
Position candy corn around bottom of cake for a border.
Makes 12 servings.
