Peanut Butter Spritz Cookies

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/2 teaspoon Madagascar Pure Vanilla Extract
• 1 1/2 cups flour

Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large mixing bowl cream together shortening and peanut butter. Gradually add sugars, blending well. Add egg beating until smooth. Add vanilla. Set aside. Stir flour into peanut butter mixture. Place dough into cookie press and press cookies onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Remove cookies from sheet cool on rack.

Makes 3-4 dozen cookies.
