Yellow Cupcakes
Ingredients:
- 3 cups cake flour sifted
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup butter or margarine softened
- 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs

- 1 1/4 cups milk

Instructions:
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
2. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
Step 3
3. Cream sugar and butter together until light and fluffy.
Step 4
4. Add eggs and vanilla to creamed mixture and beat until thoroughly mixed.
Step 5
5. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.
Step 6
6. Continue beating one minute.
Step 7
7. Pour into prepared pan.
Step 8
8. Bake 18-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Step 9
9. Cool 10 minutes in pan on rack; remove and cool completely before decorating.
