Whipped Cream Topping
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
pumpkin pie spice (optional)
Ices about 24 cupcakes.
Just before serving, whip cream and sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form. Add a dollop to the top of the iced cupcakes. If desired, sprinkle lightly with pumpkin pie spice.
