Vanilla-Sugar Cookies On-a-Stick

Instructions:

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray pan with vegetable pan spray. In large bowl, beat butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and extracts. Combine flour and salt; add to butter mixture 1 cup at a time, mixing after each addition. Do not chill dough. Fill cavities with cookie dough to 1/8 in. below top edge; insert sticks into dough, covering 2 in. of end. Bake 20-22 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned.

Step 2

Note: Dough can be tinted with Wilton Icing Color. Knead in small amounts until desired color is reached.

Step 3

For chocolate cookies: Mix in 3 ounces of melted, unsweetened chocolate. Spray Cookie Treat Pan cavities with vegetable oil spray. Fill cavities with cookie dough to 1/8 inch below top edge; insert sticks into dough, covering 2 in. of end.

Step 4

Bake on middle rack for 10 to 15 minutes. Cool 5 minutes, gently loosen with spatula, tip pan upside down to remove. Wash pan and repeat to bake remaining treats. Cool completely before decorating.
