1 cup butter , softened

1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese , room temperature

1 cup granulated sugar

1 egg yolk

1 teaspoon Madagascar Pure Vanilla Extract

3/4 teaspoon lemon flavoring

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon peel , grated

1 teaspoon poppy seeds

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt
Makes: About 4 dozen cookies.
instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cream butter and cheese together in mixer bowl. Add sugar and mix well until light and fluffy.
Add egg yolk, vanilla, lemon flavoring, lemon peel and poppy seeds. Mix well.
Gradually add flour and salt to creamed mixture.
Shape dough into small logs and place in Cookie Master Plus. Using desired disk,
press shapes onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 12-15 minutes
or until light golden brown.
Cool on cookie sheet on cooling rack 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool completely on rack.
