Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine , softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- Easy-Add vanilla extract Add to shopping list vanilla extract
- 2 squares (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate , melted and cooled
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks

About 2 1/2 dozen cookies
Instructions:
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375ยบ F.
Step 2
In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until well blended. Beat in egg and vanilla. Blend in melted chocolate; mix well. Add flour mixture to butter mixture, mixing until incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by mounded tablespoonfuls about 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie pan.
Step 3
Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are set (centers will be soft). Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie pan to cooling grid.
