Rated 5 out of 5 by from Whenever I think of a super elegant design that I want to create on a cake, I always think "fondant". However, because I am a Kindergarten teacher, I don't have time to make my own fondant. The Ready-To-Use fondant saves me time and energy and always makes such beautifully smooth and perfect looking cakes. I'm always asked if my cakes are real because they look too perfect. I've had consistent results every time I've used the Wilton Ready-To-Use White Rolled Fondant. It's the only one I've ever used because it worked so well the first time. I'm hooked and I'll only use Wilton Fondant when I'm asked to do a cake.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It is very true what he says sweetpeakennedy ... store the price is cheaper, it's not fair for them, do not cheat, are manufacturers and should give a better price and more if the purchase is more ... deceive us by saying that the freight is free ... is a lie .. is included in the price you put here, be very careful not to buy online, apart from a competition deseleal, hopefully stores realize and do something about it, hopefully, Wilson reconcidere what you are doing. in-store price is much lower ... and they also pay employees, rent, taxes and just give a little more expensive, but a manufacturer is expensive to go against the rules of honesty, I do a lot of courage to do that

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Here in Colombia; This fondant is the best and more useful to me, had tried many others but this product has given me the job and saved me the time I had to invest in it myself. The taste is delicious, the texture is much softer and contains no Grugé or grittiness. I also lightens the load of dough when I have to make and decorate more that 15 cakes for days. I thank WILTON for having exported some products to my country and I would like you to consider opening a WILTON shop in Bogota or another city in Colombia that had the ability to send your products into the country. Thank you very much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have tried many high end fondants and I still can't find one the surpasses the taste of Wilton's. Most of the fondants I have tried have an almost fruity, extraordinarily sugary taste to it and I prefer fondant that is closer to a buttercream/vanilla flavor that is not overly sweet. It is very important to me that the fondant does not overwhelm the cake and filling; flavors should meld and not detract from each other. The consistency and texture is perfect for covering cakes and making decorations, be it flowers, using molds or making sculptures. Wilton's fondant is the only fondant that I can break off a piece and eat it as is. You can go to www.cakeykathy.com and see the many cakes I created using Wilton's fondant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This fondant is very forgiving, I find it's easier to use than other brands. It rolls out very well and it's very easy to cover the cake without stretching and tearing when using the method taught by the Wilton instructors (using the mat). It is more expensive than the other fondants but covers better, hiding any imperfections that may have happened in the crumb coat. It can be flavoured too by adding a teaspoon of almond or vanilla (clear) or any flavour you like. A good fondant to use if you're just starting to use fondant. Best of all it's VEGAN!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this fondant. All the cakes I have made using fondant, I use this brand. I find it tireing to add my own color, so I buy the pre-coloured stuff. I also found that when adding my own colour, to get it as vibrant as I wanted, it ended up making the fondant sticky. Just add icing sugar if this happens, but a lot less work to buy the pre-coloured stuff. I love the taste and so do all my "customers" and kids. It has a great consistancy and is really easy to work with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have had a lot of problems with Wilton fondant being very dry. Usually when I open a package I have to remove hard chunks from the edges and sometimes it is a significant quantity. The fondant tastes alright and it has improved over the years and doesn't taste as bad as it once did, however, I usually buy my fondant online from other companies. But, it is quick, handy and I don't have to order it. I might use it if I were short on time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I found the ready-to-use white rolled fondant convenient to use, but hard to color. It became sticky when adding color. I did not care for the taste of the fondant. It tasted horrible and had the consistancy of chewing gum. This is not a texture I want on a cake. Everyone pulled the fondant off the cake before eating. It was easy to use for different shapes and making a smooth cake, but I rather just use buttercreme in the future.
