The rosette has the tight, swirling look of a rose, but is achieved in one continuous rotation, rather than with wrapped layers of petals. Single rosettes are also used as candleholders on top of a cupcake.

Ruffles add a decorative top border to your cakes or cupcakes. Pipe ruffles around plaques or to trim doll dresses or bonnets.

The star tip creates the most popular, easily accomplished decorations! The serrated edges of the star tip makes ridges in the icing as you squeeze it out. Use for borders, details such as buttons and facial features, flower centers, filling in cakes baked in shaped pans.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This cake was quite easy to decorate. I did change a few things. I decided not to make a bib so instead I iced the cake in a light blue buttercream to make a pond. For the centre I place a circle of cellophane down and put a rubber duckie toy on top. Using a duckie chocolate mold maked the little ducks along the side really look more professional. The rosette's (white icing striped with blue) I placed under the little duckies to make them look like they were on top of the water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I did this cake for a baby shower at our church and everyone thought it was so cute! I varied it by adding the baby's name on the bib, which mom-to-be liked. I would do this one again. The great this about this idea is it is so easy to "custom" make it for the family expecting the little one. I just love Wilton's website. It is my #1 go to source for ideas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made a cake using this design as the very first non-class cake. I made a classic white cake with regular buttercream frosting. Instead of using the pre-made candies, I got a candy mold with little ducks and teddybears and baby rattles and made my candy pieces to put on the cake. The cake was loved and I have had to repeat the design more than once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The bathtime cake can easily be altered for a boy or girl, and fits well into the wilton cake carrier. I've also placed shaped chocolates using various baby themed molds for unique and fun themes. This cake is great for beginners and seasoned decorators that are looking to create great looking and delicoious cakes!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really liked this cake idea, but I couldn't find the duck decorations at my nearest supplier so tried to make my own ducks on the cake and they didn't turn out so nice. However, the cake still went over very well at the shower and everyone was very impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I needed a quick idea for a last minute baby shower order. I made this cake and what a hit. The only difference I made was I made the rubber ducks with the Wilton candy molds. I made extra to spring around the cake on the table.
