In large bowl, combine flour, almonds, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Add butter to dry ingredients; mix with electric mixer until crumbly, 1 to 2 minutes. Set aside 1-1/2 cups of the mixture; press remaining onto bottom of ungreased 9 x 13 in. pan.
Bake 14-16 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. In small bowl, combine preserves and dried apricots. Spread mixture over prebaked crust. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over surface. Bake an additional 14-16 minutes or until jam is bubbling and topping is just beginning to brown. Cool completely in pan on cooling grid before cutting. Dust with confectioners’ sugar before serving.
