Make cake. Prepare batter following recipe directions. Bake and cool cake.
Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Tint yellow.
Use spatula and yellow icing to ice cake fluffy.
Decorate cake. Use tip 22, cut disposable decorating bag and yellow icing to pipe pull-out star hair tuft.
Use fondant roller with pink guide rings to roll out red and orange spice drops 1/16 in. thick on parchment paper-covered board sprinkled with granulated sugar. Use straight side of second smallest (1 1/4 in.) round cut-out to cut two red circles for cheeks. Use knife to cut an orange triangle for beak, 3/4 in. wide x 3/4 in. high. Position cheeks, beak and candy-coated chocolates for eyes. For each leg, position one pretzel stick and two 1 1/4 in. long sticks for toes.
