Pull-Out Star is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Ten year old daughter won first prize at the local fair with this one. She entered it unter "decorated cupcakes for a party". This is something you can do with kids at a party for fun in the kitchen. Just add candy for the face and entenae, and you have created all kinds of fun critters. It will help if the buttercream is at a medium consistancy so it will stick to the cupcake and be easy to pull the star out, but yet stay standing. Apply pressure until desired length, then decrease pressure to end the star. We found it easier to start from the outside and work yourself into the center of the cupcake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fun technique. It can make your hand cramp up, but it is an easy way to get sections of 3D cakes covered quickly.
