Rated 5 out of 5 by from I now have almost all of the Wilton Performance Pan sets and have purchased a "second or third" of the most used sizes. The round pan set is used more than the others. The Wilton brand is the best. I use the Cake Release, also a Wilton product, for all my layers. The finished product comes out of the pan easily and with very few crumbs. The pans do not rust or become discolored and are so easy to wash up. I have had these pans for over 3 years and use some of them almost daily and they still look as good as when I purchased them. As to the cost, they are the most reasonably priced. So for quality and cost, I highly recommend them. I love all Wilton products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these pans because they have straight edges, they don't taper in, so it makes for an even side when stacking the cakes. The pan set is great because they nestle together and takes up less space when storing them. You have a variety of pan sizes to choose from. You can just use the smaller size for a cake if you just need a small cake or a larger one for whatever the need is. You don't have to try and cut a larger size cake down to a smaller one. I have two sets myself it makes it a lot easier when I am doing tiered cakes for any occasion, wedding, anniversary , even for a baby shower, or birthday. Or just one tier cakes. It is a time saver for me to have two sets, no need to have to wash and dry the pans so that I can reuse them for the next layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I had a friend that was getting married and needed a wedding cake. I had never made a wedding cake but was willing to try due to the loss that family had endured. They lost a baby to cancer at the age of 2 and the family all put their money towards him while he was still here. So my heart was with them. They bought this set of pans for me and that was my payment for doing the cake. The pans were awesome. They bake so evenly. Great for a first timer or for the professional baker. I am slowly bulding up my supplies but it's coming right along.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've used these pans to make 100's of wedding cakes and every other kind of special cake for many people, with everyone being pleased with my creations. Some have been Beer can cakes, Wedding cakes with the foutain, stairs with upto 4 stairs cases. and sizes up to 450 servings. I've been doing cakes for 34 years, starting with the head of BIG BIRD for my youngest brothers 6th Birthday. I just made a wedding cake for my youngest daughters wedding in september and used these very same pans. It turned out beautifully!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have 2 sets of these so that I can bake double-layer cake layers at the same time. Here is what I *love* about Wilton pans...the sides are not graduated. This means that the sides of the cake bake perfectly verticle and not at an angle which makes even icing much easier. I have a lovely set of cake pans from another company that have angled sides which makes pans of the same diameter nest neatly, but makes for angled sides on my cakes. I haven't baked a cake in them since my first Wilton cake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I had a couple of big events this year for which cakes were needed but not in the budget. I'd always wanted to try REALLY making a cake. Made my son's wedding cake and my parents' 50th anniversary cake, both using these pans. They came out great! No sticking or burning, & baked evenly. Someone even said, "Don't be surprised if you get requests for cakes after this!" (I haven't, lol) But I had a lot of fun and my hubby bought me more Wilton products for Christmas...can't wait to try them out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't believe how well these pans have held up through 10+ years of cake baking. After the first 5 years, I decided to buy nothing but Wilton pans because of their durability. Other pans that I have bought seemed to have a shelf life of 2-3 years. What a waste of money! They ended up in a yard sale. They bake so evenly, that baking a wedding cake or any other cake makes you look like a professional without even trying. Thanks for caring about quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love all of my Wilton tiered pan sets, and have used nearly all of them. Round, square, diamond, hexagon, heart, paisley, oval and flower all present and stack well on the Wilton wedding tier cake plates. The Wilton "saw-like" cake leveler insures excellent stackability. I am proud to say my daughter-in-law will soon inherit these sets as she pursues a culinary degree in hopes of operating a wedding cake business.
