Peppermint Bark Candy is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an easy recipe that gets huge presentation points. For variety different flavors of candy melts can be used individually or to create layers. I have used white, milk, dark chocolate and mint chocolate at different times. If you like you can also add a very small amount of peppermint or vanilla extract to the melted chocolate mixture. I place the candy canes in a plastic zippered bag and gently hit it with a heavy pan a few times. I also place the bag on top of a towel so I don't hurt hurt my countertop. If you have a limited number of cookie cutters you can freeze the finished shapes and pop them out of the cookie cutters after an hour or more and re-use the cookie cutters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love making this candy during the holiday season. It's so simple and quick. I don't normally use a cookie cutter to mold the candy because I don't have the time due to being in a baking frenzy. I chill the candy, break it up and package it into Christmas bags. I highly recommend this to the novice and experts who have not yet made this yummy treat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They taste great! However, I like my peppermint broken up just a bit more than the size in the picture. To break them down even further, I put my Peppermint crunch sprinkles in a plastic zip bag and roll my rolling pin over them to crush them into finer pieces.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made these the first time just like the recipe says, but wasn't really satisfied with the peppermint flavor so for the second batch that i made i added some peppermint candy flavoring and also crushed up the peppermint pieces even finer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like the simplicity of this recipe and the great taste. My son has a severe nut allergy. Wilton's Candy Melts are all labeled as produced in a facility with nuts. Does Wilton make a nut-free safe alternative to Candy Melts that I can use for this type of recipe?
