Step 1

Prepare meringues. Prepare meringue batter following recipe instructions. Divide batter in half. Tint half batter violet using color combination provided. Using teal icing color, tint remaining batter teal.

Prepare decorating bag with tip 4B. Stripe bag with violet and teal batter. Pipe pull-out stars on parchment-lined baking sheet, alternating height and size of meringues. Bake and cool.

*Combine Violet and Rose icing colors to get violet color shown (meringues).

Step 2

Prepare candy bark. Melt green candy following package instructions. Pour into 1/3 of cookie sheet. Sprinkle with purple, yellow and white nonpareils and Sugar Pearls.

Melt yellow, blue and pink candy, separately, following package instructions. Pour yellow candy into 1/3 of cookie sheet. Add some melted blue candy and swirl with toothpick. Pour pink and blue candy into remaining 1/3 of cookie sheet. Swirl colors together with toothpick. Sprinkle with some color sticks from flowerful medley set, reserving remaining color sticks for later step. Chill candy until set, about 15 to 20 minutes. Break into small shards.

Step 3

Bake cupcakes. Prepare cupcake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool in white baking cups.

Step 4

Decorate cupcakes. Prepare buttercream following recipe instructions. Using spatula, ice cupcakes smooth.

Prepare glaze following recipe instructions. Using Kelly Green icing color, tint glaze light green. Pour glaze over cupcakes. Top with orange and blue Sugar Pearls and reserved purple, green and blue candy stick sprinkles. Insert candy shards and attach meringues.
