Make flowers. Prepare royal icing following recipe directions. Tint creamy peach. Use tip 101 and peach icing to make 30 Wilton Roses with tip 3 bases. Use tip 103 and peach icing to make 35 Wilton Roses with tip 10 bases. Make extras to allow for breakage and let dry 24 hours.
1 DAY IN ADVANCE
Bake and cool 6 in. round cake. Cake is 5 in. high (two layers, 21/2 in. high). Place cake on foil-wrapped 8 in. cake circle
Decorate cake. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe directions. Tint creamy peach. Use spatula and peach buttercream icing to ice cake smooth.
Use tip 3 and peach buttercream icing to pipe bead bottom border.
Use tip 3 dots of peach buttercream icing to attach roses randomly on cake top and sides.
