Patriotic Pinwheel Cookie Pop
When the fireworks are popping, it?s the perfect time to serve these red, white and blue cookie pops. With Sugar Sheets!? Edible Decorating Paper and tools, it?s easy to create the fun swirls and stars that make this an eye-popping treat.
Each cookie pop serves 1.
Prepare and roll out cookie dough. Cut cookies using second largest Round Cutter. Bake and cool.
Place cookies on Cooling Grid over drip pan. Cover with thinned Blue Royal Icing; tap to settle. Let dry.
Using Rotary Cutter and Red Sugar Sheets!, cut six 2 in. long swirls for each cookie, 1/2 in. wide at bottom and tapering toward end. Brush back with Piping Gel and attach to cookie, 1 1/2 in. apart.
Using Punch with smallest Star Cutting Insert and white Sugar Sheets!, punch six 3-star sections. Attach between swirls with Piping Gel.
Using punch with largest Star Cutting Insert and Blue Sugar Sheets!, cut center star. Attach with Piping Gel.
Attach cookie to stick with icing.
