Bake and cool 2-layer cake (bake two 1 1/2 in. layers for a 3 in.
high cake). Ice cake smooth.
Cut edible paper rectangles for
sides using edge cutter as follows: For long front and back,
cut eight each, 3 1/4 in. wide x 3 1/8 in. high in bright pink, 3 in.
wide x 2 3/4 in. high in white and 2 3/4 in. wide x 2 1/2 in. high
in black. For shorter sides, cut six each, 3 in. wide x 3 1/8 in.
high in bright pink, 2 3/4 in. wide x 2 3/4 in. high in white and
2 1/2 in. wide x 2 1/2 in. high in black. Use piping gel to attach
row of pink, then smaller white panels then smallest black
panels (trimming as needed).
Cut 14 hearts from zebra
edible paper using punch with largest heart insert. Paint
black areas with piping gel; sprinkle on black sugar. Attach
hearts to panels.
Use edge cutter to cut edible paper rectangles for cake top.
Cut and attach in order using piping gel: 10 5/8 in. wide x
6 3/4 in. high in black; 9 7/8 in. wide x 5 7/8 in. high in bright pink;
9 in. wide x 5 in. high in white.
Use alphabet stamps and black edible color to stamp name;
immediately sprinkle with black sugar. Use punch and
inserts to cut two medium black hearts and 13 small pink
hearts. Attach with piping gel to cake.
