Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this cake for my granddaughter's first birthday with skull and black bat cupcakes. So cute! Did not have a mini green gumdrop so cut a large gumdrop in half and used the top. Used a pudding cake batter which worked well for the bear and supported the bottom with a base of icing and multi colored coconut flakes so that it appeared like the pumpkin was sitting in a field with "fall leaves". Then made tombstone candies and placed around bear. Was a big hit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this the my grandchildren for Holloween. They loved it. I actually made this to practice for the teddy in dream land cake for my daughters baby shower. That cake turned out amazing too. It takes a bit of time and patients to do the teddy bear hair. It is totally worth the effort. I ENJOY IT. Nonna.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this cake for a Halloween party and it was a hit. It is fairly easy to make and turns out oh so cute. But make sure you use a pound cake recipe or some similar firm cake so it doesn't fall apart. It gets heavy in the front from the fondant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used this idea for my daughter's first birthday. I'm a beginner cake decorator and I didn't have much trouble with it. I used a green #1 candle on top of the bears head. It was a huge success.
