Rated 5 out of 5 by from The black candy melts are only available seasonally, but I purchase a few packages for year round uses. I like to melt a few pieces and and freehand paint with the black chocolate onto molded pieces using the colored candy melts. Black looks really great with any words.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I didn't use this product exactly, I used the Halloween Pops kit. I made dozens of these "spooky" little pops for both my son and daughters class and they LOVED it! It was so easy to use and my kids really enjoyed helping make their class treats!.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Black is such a hard color to make that these candy melts are wonderful to keep on hand. Because they are seasonal I always buy a bunch of them and then just store them and use as I need throughout the year. They melt well and taste decent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Please make these available year round! It is almost impossible to make a deep enough black with the dark chocolate and the candy coloring. I have to purchase these a case at a time and I still run out =(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In the past year and a half I have been making cake pops. I am asked all the time to make custom creations. The first time I needed a dark black color was in making an Orca Whale cakepop. There were no black melts available so I had to color my chocolate. It took an entire bottle of candy color for this one project and it was not as black as I would have liked. This past Halloween season, I discovered the Wilton black made esp for Halloween projects. I used on some cake pops and the color was good, it tasted good and I really loved how well it coated. I then was asked to do a black and white wedding. This time creating a Bride and Groom Cake Pop along with additional black and white pops. I was kind of in a panic trying to locate the black melts. I was however, pleasantly surprised to find some left on the Wilton site. I ordered several bags and now plan to keep them on hand. I think I used 6 bags for the wedding. I wish I could post how well they turned out. Here is my message to Wilton...Please Keep the Black Stocked online and in the stores! It's invaluable when working on wedding treats! Love, love, love it!
