Not wanting to run to the store, I pulled out a can of Wilton's Meringue Powder that had been hidden in my pantry shelf for (literally) decades. Since it was sealed, I decided to give it a try. Finding a recipe for Marshmallow Icing on this website, I made it up. The consistency and flavor is the same as my White Mountain recipe. Very easy! I would halve the ingredient amounts. I have enough icing for at least 2-3 cakes.
